Hello, my name is Alessandro, I was born in Italy and raised around the world, I have a degree in Architecture but photography has always been and still is my passion.
I have been attracted to photography since I was a kid. I like to shoot both in digital and film format.
I shoot in black and white, the magic of black and white photography lies in its power to transform the everyday into something extraordinary.
Black and white has the power to remove the superfluous and highlight the essence of an image.
When I take a photo I'm not looking for a technically perfect photo, I'm looking for a photo that brings the moment to life, even a blur can make you feel emotional.
lapizperdido = lost pencil
the pencil is the symbol of drawing, of the sketch at the base of architecture, my background. Lost because I like to travel and get lost in the world, my favorite photographic set.
